SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE

BACKGROUND

Founded in 1993, the Merchants of Deva brought together a group of talented individuals with a strong and diverse skill set in event planning and production to hold fun and safe entertainment events at science-fiction conventions across the Pacific Northwest. In 2007, the group decided to start looking beyond conventions to hold more public events, to raise money for various charities, and to support and entertain the community.  In keeping with this goal, the Merchants became a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization in January of 2009. 

OUR EVENTS

Our parties feature dances with live DJs, unique decor, and live entertainers such as jugglers. and they generally have themes related to the science-fiction, fantasy or horror genres, in keeping with our beginnings as a science-fiction fandom organization.  We aim to provide an environment that combines the best features of high-end nightclub entertainment with the feel of a more personal and intimate gathering, where our attendees may socialize with a few hundred of their closest friends.

We raise money for charity at these events through ticket and drink sales, and through merchandising such as T-shirts, stickers, and collectible cups.

Our goal is safe and responsible entertainment, and our past events at conventions have been lauded as adhering to the highest possible standards for security, safety and being a "good neighbor".

WHAT WE NEED

The MERCHANTS OF DEVA is just beginning as a public events production entity.  Currently we are entirely self-financed.
Cash donations are most helpful, as are donations of advertisement or party supplies such as beverages.

SPONSOR BENEFITS

As a corporate sponsor of the MERCHANTS OF DEVA,
you will receive the following benefits with each level of membership:

Bronze ($500):

• Welcome letter
  
• Certificate of Sponsorship of appropriate level, suitable for framing
  
• Listed as a sponsor on website and in any publications
  
• MERCHANTS OF DEVA logo T-shirt
  
• Free admission for two people to any one party event during the sponsorship year
  

Silver ($1000):

Everything in the Bronze level, plus:

• Three T-shirts
  
• Free admission for two increased to any three party events during the sponsorship year
  
• Banner ad rotation on website
  
• Listed as a sponsor on all advertisements for any one event during the sponsorship year
  

Gold ($5000):

Everything in the Silver level, plus:

• Status of primary sponsor of one event, including display of name and logo on a t-shirt specific to that event.
  
• Free admission increased to five people to any non-private event during the sponsorship year
  
• As above but advertising rights are granted for any five events during the sponsorship year
  
• Premier ad space and banner ad rotation
  

Unobtanium ($10000)

As with Gold, plus:

• A private party for the sponsor
• A signature drink named after the sponsor
  
• Advertising rights to every event of the sponsorship year
  
• Free admission increased to five people to every public event for the sponsorship year
